About Us

When raising our girls, my nieces were unable to say Aunt Stormy and called me "Nonie" and the name has stuck ever since for both of us. 26 years later we are excited to share our special family name with all of you.

I have three daughters and one son that are my heart.  My passions are decorating, baking sweet treats, advocating for special needs and raising awareness for Autism and Down Syndrome. 

I love relaxing with a cup of coffee, watching my birds (my meaning behind nest) and I have a unique eye for mixing the old with new, colors and patterns, making gifts feel special and spaces feel like home.

  I am a mother of four girls and my three nieces, and one nephew also call me Nonie.  Stormy was called Nonie first and her girls followed making me Nonie #2.  

Nest has a different meaning for me and my family though. I have enjoyed nesting my girls in love, support, encouragement, and guidance. When the girls were sick, I would make them an “nest’ on the couch with their favorite blanket, pillows, to help make them feel better.  

I also enjoy sitting in my favorite chair in my comfy clothes with a hot cup of coffee and reading books. I love walking and looking at old beautiful trees with their natural curves and bends with the southern moss hanging from it.
